How to reset the airbag light on a Nissan.

On compatible Nissan models such as the Qashqai J10, and applicable to many models from the late 2000s and early 2010s, the airbag warning light reset can be performed from the dashboard by following the sequence shown in the images. With the vehicle stationary, turn the ignition to ON: when the airbag warning light turns on and then starts to flash, turn off the ignition after about seven seconds. The sequence is repeated several times as shown, until the system enters diagnostic mode and the light switches to slower flashes or turns off. If successful, turn the ignition back on to check that the warning does not return.
