In this video we see a hidden security feature on the Nissan Qashqai, J11: an alarm function that is not widely known. In fact, when the car is locked but a door is open.

The YouTuber shows it by opening the windows. The car is locked, and let's say someone is trying to force the lock; the horn will start sounding and will do so for about 30 seconds; it stopped sounding only because the owner unlocked the car. It is an alarm for which there is a description in the user manual on page 3, and it is an additional security measure for when a door or window is inadvertently left open; however, we are not sure on which versions this feature is actually available.

How to open the bonnet on a Volkswagen Golf?
