How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Nissan Qashqai

Begin by opening the bonnet and securing it. Remove the coolant reservoir using a socket wrench, and take off the plastic cover located on the front bumper. Disconnect the wiring harness using pliers. Lift the car with a column lift to access the underside. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and remove the belt from its position. Fit the new belt and tighten everything with the socket wrench. Finally, reattach the reservoir and the plastic cover with the securing pins.
