In this tutorial we can see how to adjust the handbrake in the Nissan Qashqai, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we park the vehicle in a flat place with the first gear engaged, then we grab the cover of the central console, pull it strongly upwards and separate it from the base. We then locate the adjustment nut, screw it using a long 10mm socket wrench and reach the desired tension level. At this point, we can put everything back together and test the new adjustment on a suitable road.
