How does the automatic high beam control system work on Nissan vehicles?

Have we ever wondered how the automatic system for controlling high beams works? Nissan shows us, specifying the way to activate it for their own cars. With this system, we do not run the risk of dazzling other vehicles, neither those in front of us, nor those coming towards us: it works at speeds higher than 40 km/h and activates at night and in tunnels. A radar activates when no other vehicles are in sight, and automatically turns on the high beams, turning them off by itself when it detects another vehicle at a predetermined distance, so as not to disturb other drivers. Specifically, the headlights must be set to "auto" mode, and the lever must be pushed forward: an icon will appear on the instrument panel; to deactivate it, we will have to pull the lever back.
