How do you replace the power battery in the Nissan Primastar?

The Nissan Primastar has in common with the Opel Vivaro and the Renault Trafic the method of replacing the 12-volt battery that powers the vehicle electrically. It is a task that does not require high technical expertise, so it is well suited to be done as a DIY project. The battery in question is housed under the driver's footrest floor and is covered by a protective metal partition. Once this partition is removed, the fixing pins of the brackets that ensure its locking are removed, the two terminals, red and black, are disconnected, and finally the battery is removed from its housing. Now you can proceed with the installation of the replacement battery.
