How to Replace the Front Headlight on a Nissan Altima

To replace the front headlight on a Nissan Altima, turn off the engine and open the hood. Locate the headlight assembly to be replaced and remove the rear protective cover of the headlight. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector of the bulb. Remove the mounting screws for the headlight, which may be located on the top, side, and in some cases, under the bumper; you may need to slightly loosen the bumper to access the lower screws. Carefully pull the headlight out of its socket. Position the new headlight, secure all screws, reconnect the connector, and replace the protective cover. Close the hood and check the proper operation of the headlights.
