Let's see how to reset the radio on a Nissan Almera Versa: turn on the ignition, press the 1 (preset) button and the volume up button at the same time. Hold them for about ten seconds until the diagnostic screen disappears.

After the reset, a menu should appear: use the knob or buttons to select the second option, which should be "confirm settings". Use the knob that searches for radio stations to navigate to "initialize settings" and select it with "ok". The radio will warn you that all stored data will be deleted: confirm the operation.

At this point, the radio will automatically restart.

This process often resolves issues such as the failure to detect a rear camera or memory errors. Once the reset is complete, you will need to manually reset all radio stations and other settings.
