How to Locate the Fuses in a Nissan Altima

To locate the fuses in a Nissan Altima, open the driver’s side door and remove the side cover of the dashboard to access the internal fuse box, where the main circuit protections for the cabin are located. Then, open the hood and look for the second fuse box in the engine compartment, usually positioned near the battery and covered by a plastic lid that needs to be lifted. In some configurations, there may also be an additional unit in the trunk for secondary systems. The location and function of the fuses are indicated on the lid or in the vehicle’s owner’s manual.
