To replace the cabin air filter in a Nissan Rogue, open the passenger door and empty the glove compartment. Press the sides of the drawer inward to release the stops and lower it completely.

Behind the glove compartment, locate the cover of the pollen filter housing and detach it from the retaining tabs. Remove the old filter by sliding it out and note the direction indicated by the arrows printed on the component.

Clean the inside of the housing to remove dust and debris. Insert the new filter, ensuring it is oriented according to the airflow direction, close the cover, and reposition the glove compartment in its original place.

Finally, check that all fasteners are properly secured and that the ventilation system operates normally.

Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
