The reset procedure for the Nissan X-Trail 2011 is entirely manual: insert the key and access the service menu by repeatedly pressing the "trip" button next to the rev counter until the display shows the service message or simply the oil light with a percentage. Select the item to reset, and once you find the correct option, hold the "trip" button for 5-10 seconds: the message will start to flash. While the message is flashing, keep the button pressed until the message or the mileage resets to the maximum values. On some versions, the message "reset complete" may appear.
