To open the boot of a Nissan Micra from the inside, recline the rear seats and use WD-40 lubricant spray along with a flathead screwdriver. Open the rear doors and press down on the top of the seats to move them forward; spray the lubricant on the lock from the inside.

Insert the flathead screwdriver into the lock to activate the internal mechanism. Move the lever to the right to open the boot in emergency mode from the inside.

If you need to load items into the boot, it is advisable to insert some string into the lock to secure the boot lid with the front headrest and prevent it from opening until you can visit a workshop to replace the lock.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
