Thermostat Replacement on Nissan Pathfinder

Model: Nissan Pathfinder MK 1, R50 - Years 1996-2004

Replace the thermostat if it is damaged. Drain the water from the hoses and remove the ventilation pipe to access the thermostat. Unscrew the bolts on the thermostat housing cap as shown in the video (use a socket wrench with the appropriate sockets), and extract the coolant thermostat from its housing. Once removed, replace it with a new one, close the compartment with the cap, and tighten the securing bolts with all their parts. Ensure the thermostat is correctly inserted and fitted. Refit the hoses and the air pipe. Refill with new coolant.
