Remove the external door handle? Here’s how to remove the door handle of a Nissan Micra. Unscrew the screws on the trim panel using a screwdriver, then detach the internal opening handle. Remove the panel and disconnect the electrical cables. Once the panel is off, remove the door opening handle. Hold the external handle with your left hand while unscrewing the securing screws. Fit the new handle and screw in the securing screws. Reattach the door cover panel.
