Automatic Gear Shift Switch Replacement

Model: Nissan Micra K11 - Years 1992-2002

Once you have located the switch cable, proceed to remove the piece located on the gearbox at the bottom of the vehicle. Unscrew the screw that secures it and note the oil leaking from the gearbox. Once the oil has finished leaking, detach the switch from its housing using a screwdriver. Replace the switch and reassemble the actuator, screwing in the securing screw while ensuring to reposition the small bracket that holds the cables in place and also acts as an anti-loosening washer. Now, reintroduce the oil into the gearbox after locating the screw that serves as a cap on the top of the gearbox.
