Before we start, we will have to go and lift the rear side of our Nissan Micra. So let's start by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the wheel to the hub, and then removing the wheel itself. After that, we will have to disengage and remove the nut cover that secures the drum, and then unscrew and remove the nut itself. By doing so, we will have freed the rear brake drum. At this point, we will have to go and extract the drum from its housing, and we will have finished the disassembly. To mount the new drum and reassemble the wheel, all we have to do is follow these steps in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.
