How to Replace the Rear Brake Drum of a Nissan Micra?

Before you can start, lift the rear side of your Nissan Micra using the appropriate jack. Begin by unscrewing and removing the wheel retaining bolts, then remove the wheel itself. Next, unclip and remove the cover of the drum retaining nut. Once done, unscrew and remove the nut itself, freeing the rear brake drum. At this point, extract the drum from its housing, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new drum and refit the wheel, simply repeat these instructions in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
