Before you can start, lift the rear side of your Nissan Micra using the appropriate jack. Begin by unscrewing and removing the wheel retaining bolts, then remove the wheel itself.

Next, unclip and remove the cover of the drum retaining nut. Once done, unscrew and remove the nut itself, freeing the rear brake drum. At this point, extract the drum from its housing, and the disassembly will be complete.

To fit the new drum and refit the wheel, simply repeat these instructions in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
