How to Replace the Rear Drum Brake Wheel Bearing

Model: Nissan Micra K12 - Years 2002-2010

Place the car on a ramp and lift it to a height that allows you to work underneath. Remove the rear wheel and, using a screwdriver, extract the metal cover at the centre of the wheel. Using the appropriate socket, undo the central bolt and remove the drum cover. Inside, lever out the bearing retainer. Take the new drum brake cover and, using the appropriate tool, insert the bearing into the centre. Secure the bearing retainers (internal with a hammer and external with pliers) and refit the drum cover. Now reassemble everything by following the operations seen but in reverse order. The car on which the maintenance operation shown in the images is performed is a Nissan Micra.
