In this tutorial we can see how to replace the tensioner pulley in the Nissan X-Trail, a very simple operation if you have good manual skills. First of all, let's wait for the engine to be completely cold, then lift the right front wheel area, remove it and disassemble the internal wheel arch panel. We then grab the pulley bolt with the appropriate key, push it to the left and extract the belt. We then unscrew the same bolt, remove the pulley and also disassemble the rest of the mechanism if necessary. We assemble the spare part following exactly the reverse procedure.
