How to Replace the Fog Light on a Nissan Qashqai

For a proper and quick replacement of the fog lights on your Nissan Qashqai, follow these simple steps: Gather a Phillips screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, and preferably nitrile gloves to avoid oils from your skin affecting the bulb's lifespan. To remove the fog light, ensure the vehicle is off and engage the handbrake. Next, turn the wheel outward on the side where you need to replace the fog light. Using the Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws beneath the bumper, under the faulty headlamp. Once removed, shift your attention to the wheel arch and using the flathead screwdriver, remove the three plastic rivets holding it in place, then pull to extract them. Now you can remove the wheel arch liner and access the fog light's electrical connector, which you need to turn 1/4 turn counterclockwise to remove. Disconnect the bulb from the power cable by pulling on the tab and replace it with the new bulb. Reassemble everything carefully, and you're done.
