Replacing Rear Brake Shoes

Model: Nissan Pathfinder MK 1, Wd21 - Years 1986-1995

To replace the rear brake shoes, loosen the wheel nuts before lifting the vehicle; then place the jack under the differential and position the car on suitable axle stands; complete the removal of the wheels and take off the drums; proceed to remove the shoes by disconnecting the coupling springs and the retaining clips, then reset the wear compensation adjuster and disconnect the handbrake mechanism; clean the shoe seating and reverse the process for installation, starting with the handbrake.
