Nissan Pathfinder - Video tutorial

Model: Nissan Pathfinder R51, MK 3 - Years 2005-2012
Part: Brake pads
Operation: Replacement of rear brake pads

First loosen the wheel nuts, then we proceed to lift the car and make it safe. Disassemble the wheel and carefully disassemble the caliper by removing the two stops. Remove the caliper support bracket using a ratchet wrench by unscrewing the two rear screws and moving it away. Remove the old pads and realign the piston. Carefully clean the support with deoxidizing spray. Reassemble the bracket by cleaning and greasing the fixing screws, then always tighten them with a torque wrench. Refit the pad caliper paying attention to the direction of travel. Check the adherence of the new pads to the disc and refit the wheel.

How to reset the oil service in the Fiat Toro?

In this tutorial we can see how to reset the oil service in the Fiat Toro. Before carrying out this simple and quick operation, make sure that you have completed any required maintenance work. We start by inserting the key but leaving it in the initial position, after which we keep the accelerator pedal fully depressed and at the same time turn on the instrument panel. At this point, always keeping the accelerator pressed, press the brake pedal 5 consecutive times and, with the pedals in position, turn off the ignition. We check that the procedure has been successful by starting the vehicle.
