Replacement of Front Brake Pads

Model: Nissan Pathfinder MK 1, Wd21 - Years 1986-1995

First, remove the front wheel using the appropriate spanner. Loosen the wheel bolts while the vehicle is resting on the ground. Then, lift the vehicle with a jack and remove the wheel. Now, remove the brake caliper cover. To do this, unscrew the two bolts (using the appropriate spanner) and, after prying with a screwdriver, extract the caliper cover. At this point, the two brake pads are visible. You can manually remove them from their housing. Now, assess the thickness of the brake disc, which should not be below a certain value for safe driving. End of part I. This operation is performed on a Nissan Pathfinder.
