Replacing Front Brake Pads

Model: Nissan Pathfinder MK 1, Wd21 - Years 1986-1995

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the front wheel. Then unscrew the fixing pins of the brake caliper, remove it from its position, slide out the old pads, and ensure that the floating pins move freely in the caliper support. Retract the caliper piston using a C-clamp or adjustable spanner, apply copper grease to the sliding tabs of the pads, and insert them into the respective support before repositioning and securing the caliper. Pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance and pay attention during the first braking.
