Operation: Quick replacement of rear axle brake pads

Place the car on the jack by lifting the desired wheel. Unscrew the 6 wheel nuts and remove the wheel assembly from the hub. Loosen and then remove the fasteners holding the protective plate and the brake caliper piston in order to access the pads. Remove the worn outer pad and place it close to the piston, keeping both inside the tool you will use to mechanically retract the piston; remove the worn inner pad from the surface of the disc and place the two new friction elements in the housing on the left and right of the brake disc respectively. Subsequently, reposition the plate with the piston attached in its seat, tightening it with the two stops, making sure that there are no abnormal movements or play of the brake unit. Finally, reposition the wheel on the hub and tighten the 6 wheel nuts. Finally, lower the jack bringing the car back to the road level.
