Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Nissan X Trail MK 2, T31 - Years 2007-2014

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, behind the glove compartment: to access the filter housing, you need to flip down the glove compartment door; open the door, unclip the end stops at the bottom of the sides, and press on the sides to flip it down; once you reach the cabin air filter housing, unclip the plastic clips securing the cover, remove the old filter, clean any dirt residue, and insert the new one (preferably activated carbon) following the direction of the airflow indicated by the arrows.
