To ensure the engine "breathes" properly and to contain fuel consumption, replacing the air filter is an operation to be carried out at the scheduled maintenance interval, earlier if driving on particularly dusty roads. To do this, we open the hood of the engine compartment and remove the inlet section of the filter box, release the two fixing springs on the sides of the box and remove the cover. We can then remove the old filter element and replace it with a new one, making sure that the edge adheres well to the seat. We replace the cover and lock it with its springs, and position the filter inlet duct in its housing.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother.
