The Nissan Micra has several fuse boxes: the fuse box in the cabin is located behind the cover on the left side of the steering wheel near the bonnet release lever, so pull off the cover to find the fuses; the second fuse box is located in the engine compartment, in front of the battery; to access the fuses, press the tab on the right side and remove the cover; a final fuse box is located under the left front headlamp, to access the fuses, remove the left front headlamp, press the 4 tabs outward and lift the fuse box from its housing.

To replace a fuse, identify the fuse to be replaced, grip it with a small pair of pliers, pull it out, check if the bridge inside is broken; if it is broken, the fuse needs replacing, if the bridge is intact, the fuse is functional.

Replace a fuse with one of the same amperage.
