The timing chain, unlike the classic rubber toothed belt, does not require scheduled maintenance and generally should never be replaced, especially if the oil change is performed regularly, possibly even before the recommended mileage, and particularly using a quality oil specific for chains. That said, it is possible for the chain to stretch and become noisy; by removing the rocker cover and the shield covering the chain, you can immediately check for elongation: in this case, it is certainly advisable to have it replaced (the kit includes the chain, tensioner, sliding guides, and toothed pulleys).
