In this video tutorial, you can see how to perform a service on a Nissan Qashqai (J11). The first step is to purchase the original spare parts (engine oil, oil filter, and air filter) from an authorised car parts dealer. Equip yourself with a strap wrench to unscrew the filter; for the oil sump plug, you will need a 8mm square socket; a flathead screwdriver and a 10mm socket for the under-engine cover. Open the engine bonnet and remove the engine cover. Unscrew the oil filler cap. Raise the car on one side using a hydraulic jack and place safety stands under the car. Remove the fastening elements of the cover and take off the cover. Position a container under the oil sump and unscrew the oil plug with the 8mm square socket. Wait for all the oil to drain (lower the car to ensure all the oil drains out). Continue watching the video.
