How to Replace the Diesel Filter on a Nissan Qashqai

In this video, we see how to replace the diesel filter on a Nissan Qashqai: the filter is easily accessible in the engine bay, right in front of the passenger, and using a 10 mm socket, remove the cover, taking care with the connector that passes through. Now, remove the bolts that hold it in place, and disconnect the electrical connector. Next, disconnect the diesel pipes, but first, place some paper for protection to prevent fuel spillage. The filter has been removed. Fit the new one, loosening the clamp slightly, remove the protective caps, and refit the bolt that secures the filter. Reconnect the diesel pipes, but first, lubricate the rigid pipes to ensure that when the diesel flows for the first time, it does not create too much pressure. Reconnect the connector. Test by turning on the ignition so that the pump fills the filter, and wait at least one or two minutes. Refit the metal cover and the job is complete.
