In this video, see how to dismantle the centre tunnel inside the Nissan Qashqai J11: first, remove the side panels, which are simply clipped in. Next, lift the rear part of the drawer where the cup holders are located. Then, disconnect the clips of the gear lever gaiter frame, starting from the front.

At this point, you can remove the upper part of the console, lift the gear lever gaiter, and expose the gears and control units that may need inspection. You can further lift the front part (which does not need to be removed) that covers some electronic components.

To reassemble everything, proceed in reverse order.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
