In this video, learn how to replace the heater fan resistor on a Nissan Micra K11: the fan only works at maximum speed. This is a simple and cost-effective operation.

The resistor is located under the glove compartment; in the large black cylinder, you will find the fan motor, and behind it is the electrical connector for the resistor, which is held in place by two bolts that you need to remove. Once this is done, disconnect the resistor from the electrical socket using a flathead screwdriver.

You can find the new resistor, for example, on fruugo.it, with part number 2715072B01 at a price of £12.95 + £5.99 shipping. Simply reconnect it to its socket and secure it with the bolts you set aside.

Now the job is complete, and the fan works at all four speeds.
