How can you test if the radiator fan of an Opel/Vauxhall Corsa D is functioning correctly? The simplest method is to physically spin it with your hand - of course, with the engine switched off. If your hand can turn it, it will also spin when the engine is running, indicating there are no mechanical obstructions preventing its operation.

If you disconnect the yellow connector located next to the air pipe, the fan should start spinning on its own (now the engine must be running).

It may not start at the correct temperatures, but it certainly isn't obstructed and is functioning physically. To stop it, reconnect the connector or switch off the engine.
