How can we test if the radiator fan of an Opel / Vauxhall Corsa version D is working properly? We see it in this video. The simplest thing to do is to physically rotate it by hand - obviously with the engine off - if our hand is able to rotate it, it will also rotate through the impulse given by the engine conditions, because it means that there are no mechanical obstructions preventing its operation. If we remove the yellow connector located on the side of the air tube, the fan should start spinning on its own (now the engine must be running, instead). Maybe it won't start at the right temperatures, but surely the fan is not obstructed, and it works physically. To stop it, you must reconnect the connector, or turn off the engine.
