In this video, see how to replace the battery in the remote of the Opel/Vauxhall Grandland-X, which uses a common CR2032 battery, available for a few pounds at any supermarket. Using a small screwdriver, take care not to scratch the casing of the remote.

Pry from the side where the brand logo is printed. Lift the cover to find the battery.

Remove it from its housing using the same method, and insert the new battery you have procured. Ensure it is placed in the correct polarity, and press the plastic cover back into place.

Operation complete.
