Today we will explain how to replace the gear shift boot on Opel Astra model G and Opel Zafira model A vehicles. To replace the gear shift boot, you need to unscrew the plastic parts located on the front and bottom of the gear shift; after removing the plastic parts, we can extract the plastic around the boot. Cut the clamp at the base between the boot and the gear shift knob, so that we can remove the knob and then remove the boot. After removing both pieces, insert the new boot into the gear shift, which must first be inserted into the plastic cover. Secure the clamp and insert the knob. All that's left is to reassemble the plastic parts previously removed.
