Removing and Replacing Stabiliser Bar Links

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014

First, remove the protective caps from the wheel fastening bolts on which you will carry out the repair, loosen the bolts before lifting the vehicle, then raise it with a jack and complete the removal of the wheel (it is advisable to use an axle stand).
Remove the nut securing the link to the shock absorber by holding the link's ball joint with a 17 mm spanner and loosening the nut with a 16 mm spanner; proceed in the same way for the nut securing it to the stabiliser bar.
Then fit the new link and tighten the fastening bolts carefully (hold the ball joint with a 7 mm spanner and tighten the 16 mm nut).
Reattach the wheel and lower the vehicle, completing the tightening of the bolts and reapply the caps on the bolts.
