The instructions in this guide will show us how to disassemble and replace the knob and the shift boot of the Opel Astra. First, we get into the car and start by removing the shift boot from the base, levering on the sides; then we remove the clamp between the knob and the boot, as shown in the video. At this point, we pull the shift knob upwards with force to remove it and replace it with the new original one; we then reassemble the shift boot in order and then the knob on the lever, securing everything with a clamp.
