When we replace the battery on a vehicle, it is very likely that the radio will lock and it will be necessary to enter the code to use the radio functions. To unlock the radio of an Opel Astra model g, we must turn on the instrument panel and simultaneously press the radio power button and the volume knob, thus giving us the opportunity to enter the unlock code.

The unlock code is found in the user manual or maintenance manual, or on the back of the radio itself. We then enter the number and turn on the radio.
