In this guide we will see the instructions that will allow us to open the locked rear hatch of the Opel Astra. First, we open the rear door of the car and start lowering the backrests of the seats, in order to access the inside of the rear hatch; we remove the small plastic cap located on the lining and insert a screwdriver to release the lock pin and then open the trunk hatch in case of emergency, as shown in the video.

At this point, we proceed with the repair of the lock of the rear hatch!
