How to change the air filter of the Opel Corsa C

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa C - Years 2000-2006

On the Opel Corsa C, the air filter is located inside the classic plastic filter box in the engine compartment. Open the hood and immediately locate the filter box, connected to the intake hose. To work comfortably, loosen the clamp on the hose with a screwdriver and free the tube, so the cover of the filter box can be lifted without pulling anything. Before fully opening it, on the Opel Corsa C, the connector of the sensor on the duct is also disconnected (the electrical block near the tube): remove the clip and unplug the connector, just to avoid any obstructions while maneuvering the cover. At this point, lift the cover of the filter box and the old filter is immediately accessible: it is pulled out and compared with the new one, so the correct orientation and dimensions are quickly understood. The new filter is inserted into its seat, ensuring it rests well along the entire edge, without folds and without leaving gaps. Once the filter box is closed, on the Opel Corsa C, put the hose back in place and tighten the clamp again, then reconnect the electrical connector that was detached.
