How to change the exhaust of the Opel Corsa C

On the Opel Corsa C, replacing the exhaust involves working under the back of the car, where the exhaust tip is attached to both the central pipe and the rubber supports. The process starts at the rear: the old muffler mounted under the floor is located, and the junction point is freed, which is where the exhaust tip connects to the rest of the exhaust line. Once the junction is reached, work is done on the fastenings: you can see the hand working on the clamp/junction, and simultaneously, attention is turned to the rubber supports that hold the muffler "hanging." The exhaust tip is supported while the rubber mounts are removed, so the muffler doesn't pull on the pipes and doesn't drop suddenly. When the supports are free, the old tip is removed, and the replacement is brought in. Before installation, the new muffler is shown complete, along with the rubber mounts and the tightening clamp. At that point, the tip is brought under the car and positioned following the same direction as the original: first, the connection part is inserted onto the pipe, then the muffler is realigned to its support points, and the rubber mounts are put back in place. In the end, the "fine" operation on the supports is clearly visible, pushing the rubber mount until the pin enters and the muffler hangs correctly. With the tip in position, the junction is closed with the clamp, leaving the exhaust well centered and the outlet aligned behind the bumper.
