How to Reset the Service Light on the Opel Astra K

Let's see how to reset the service light on our Opel Astra K: the procedure is simple and is carried out from the onboard computer menu, but it may vary slightly depending on the type of display in our car. First, activate the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Access the correct menu using the controls on the steering wheel or the indicator stalk to navigate the onboard computer display. If a basic level display is fitted to our version, press the menu button on the indicator stalk; turn the knob to select the page that shows "oil remaining duration", which is usually in percentage; then press and hold the "set/crl" button on the indicator stalk for a few seconds. If, however, we have a higher-level display, press the button on the steering wheel to select the "info" menu, then press the button to navigate to the "oil remaining duration" page; press the right arrow button to open the submenu and select the "reset" option, holding the button for a few seconds.
