How to disable the Start & Stop system on Opel Astra.

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra L - Years 2021-2026

The system to deactivate the start & stop feature on the L version of the Opel Astra is really very simple. It’s an operation that can be done whether the engine is on or off; it doesn’t matter. We press the driving assistance button (the one with the stylized car icon and the circular arrow, to the left of the steering wheel). Then we go to "functions" on the instrument cluster display and select the icon of the physical button: this is the customization page for the quick commands for that button. Among the available functions, we choose "start & stop deactivation." We can exit the menu: the change is now saved. Now, when we want to deactivate the start & stop system (for the current drive), we just need to hold down the driving assistance button we just programmed for 4/5 seconds. On the screen, we will see a confirmation message for the deactivation of the system.
