The YouTuber explains that filling from the front filler neck causes the oil to 'blow back' due to internal pressure, creating difficulties in pouring.

Instead, by disconnecting the hose on the rear cover, the oil flows directly into the engine without resistance, thanks to a wider gap that prevents air pockets. It is a practical method for specific cases, such as older boxer engines or engines with complex ventilation systems that may have these air bubble issues when filled from the standard filler neck; also, not all engines have this option accessible.
