In this guide, we will see the procedure for removing and replacing the EGR valve on the Opel Astra 1.9 CDTi, following the instructions below. First, open the engine bonnet of the vehicle and start by disconnecting the electrical connector of the valve sensor; then unscrew the fixing screws of the hose, thus removing the EGR valve, as shown in the video. At this point, clean or replace the EGR valve if damaged; install it correctly and reconnect the sensor, applying the reverse procedure!
