How to remove the door handle of an Opel Meriva B

Follow the video to see how to remove the handle of the Opel/Vauxhall Meriva B: open the door and look on the side, at the level of the handle. You will see a rubber cap that you need to remove. Under the cap, there is a T20 screw that you must completely unscrew and set aside: this screw unlocks the cylinder support. Now you need to extract the locking wedge, a small grey or black plastic insert, located just behind the screw, using a hook or screwdriver. If you do not remove it, the handle will remain locked. At this point, from the outside, slide the handle towards the rear of the car (towards the mirror): this will detach the handle. Disconnect the metal rod that operates the lock, which releases under pressure: use pliers to avoid bending the rod.
