How to remove the EGR valve from an Opel Astra? Follow the video and guide. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Start by unscrewing the EGR valve fastening bolts (as shown in the video); lift the car with a jack and remove the part from underneath if it makes disassembly easier. Once the part is removed from its seat, unscrew the screws with a screwdriver. Begin cleaning the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, and use a brush to assist with the process. Refit everything after cleaning.
