Is the wiper blade on the Opel Astra damaged? Let's see how to remove the front blade. Grasp the front blade with your hands, pull it as shown in the video (gently, without breaking it) and detach it from the arm's housing.

Fit the new blade onto the arm (clip the blade onto the metal rod), you will hear a click indicating it is securely attached. Lower the wiper arm onto the front windscreen and test the new blade.
