How to Change the Gear Knob on Opel Zafira

Need to remove the gear knob on an Opel Zafira for replacement? Remove the knob if damaged along with the gaiter if it needs changing. Use a screwdriver to remove the plastic cover on the knob, then take off the gear knob (as shown in the video). Remove the leather gaiter from the edge of the centre console using a plastic lever. For reassembly: grasp the gaiter and slide it onto the rod on the centre console, then slide on the new knob and tighten it with the spanner on the side with the screw or on top. Secure the gaiter frame above the centre console of the car.
